A business advisor

Your accountants and lawyers will never know all that you know. Their advice may bring you insight or revelation, but it will not bring you salvation.  Your decision on how to act does that - and you make those decisions. When it comes to strategy, T | M | G can be your 'world's best practice' business advisors. But, only you can make the decisions.
Some business consultants write a report as if it were a prescription. This is how the market is structured, this is what it wants and this is how you should do it. Could your business consultant really know you, your organization and your business that well? Unlikely!

"What you should do is..." When we have engaged business advisors and they use this type of language, I am immediately uncomfortable. The business consultant has assumed a greater understanding of the business and market than the client. This is never the case so any advice such a person gives is probably poor advice in our view.

"One way to look at the situation might be to..." Now that’s more like it. Now the business advisor is making me think, helping me understand. This business consultant is equipping me to make the best possible decision, but not telling me what decision to make.

TMG can't think of a client who would want to surrender the strategic health of their business to the prescriptions of a Doctor.

The best advisors have a way of asking the right questions, suggesting types of analysis, stimulating insightful dialogue. TMG will not tell you the answer but more, present options, ways of understanding, help remove obstacles, make suggestions, and so on.  TMG are business consultants working with you and your management team, as trusted, business advisors.

T | M | G is quite likely to be a better form of consulting for your organization.
